Ever feel like you're carrying around a suitcase full of old, unnecessary junk? You know, the kind of stuff that's been sitting in your attic for years, collecting dust and spider webs. Imagine lugging that around everywhere you go. Sounds exhausting, right? Well, that's pretty much what holding onto the past is like. It's like dragging an overstuffed, ancient suitcase through life, slowing you down and tripping you up. But guess what? You can drop it and set yourself free!
Let's get real. Letting go of the past is tough. It's like trying to let go of a rope that's been part of you for so long, you can barely remember what it's like not to be tethered to it. I should know. If baggage were a currency, I'd be a billionaire. I could probably fill an airplane ten times over with all the stuff I've been carrying. But here's the thing: that baggage was destroying my NOW.

Our lives are brimming with negativity and cynicism, it’s easy to succumb to the dark side of the force (cue dramatic music). But fear not, for there exists a force far more potent, a weapon against the gloom and doom that threatens to engulf our psyche: positive thinking.
Yes, you heard it right, folks. The age-old adage “MIND OVER MATTER” isn’t just a catchy phrase your grandma used to throw around while knitting socks and sipping chamomile tea. It’s a bona fide life mantra, a guiding principle that can steer you through the stormy seas of existence and onto the sun-kissed shores of happiness and fulfillment.
Happiness starts with you. YOU — Not your relationship, not your job, not your money, not your designer clothes, purses or shoes.
Since as soon as we were all able to comprehend things, we have been told that we need to step on life to reach our goals.
For example, get A+ and 90+ average to get into the best universities, then work hard to get good grades to make it through university. As soon as you have graduated, get a job, pay off your student loans, get married, buy a house with a white picket fence, have two kids, a dog, and as you progress up your career, go on luxury vacations, buy better and bigger cars, and houses. Do what the Joneses are doing or bigger and better. This list is endless. And it will never bring you happiness. Trust me, I know. I did this crap before and then figured out that this is not a happy life!
If you're feeling like happiness is always one step ahead of you, dancing just out of reach, there might be a sneaky reason behind it.
Believe it or not, we've all got this sneaky habit of depriving ourselves of the good stuff, like we're hoarding diamonds in the rough!
