It should be.
While self-love can surely be a big tub of ice cream watching a movie or skipping through a field in nature like you're in a Disney film, self-love, at its core, is about taking care of yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself for yourself and the people in your life.

Today, I want to talk about something that's been on my mind lately: avoidance.
We all know what it feels like to avoid things in our lives. Difficult situations or uncomfortable experiences. Funnily enough, I've actually avoided writing this post for a while now because I've felt uncomfortable talking about my avoidant tendencies.
Okay, I admit it.
All my life, I've been a bit of a scaredy-cat.
I was always the one who was afraid of the dark, of heights, and of public speaking. I've always had anxious tendencies and was always a little nervous about putting myself out into the world.
Do you ever feel like your brain is a jumbled mess?
Yup, certainly been there.
Like thoughts are swirling around in there that you can’t quite grasp, and they’re driving you crazy?
If so, it’s probably time for a brain dump - the practice of writing down everything that’s going through your head, no matter how chaotic it may seem.
